We’re a brand-new foundation with a great deal to learn, and the surest way to get this wrong would be to design a grant cycle in a room with no adoptees in it.

So we’re asking first — and we’re keeping the question small on purpose. One sentence is a complete answer. If you’d ever like to say more, we’ll ask again later, properly, with no rush.

What happens to what you send: a person reads it — not a queue, not a bot. We don’t publish anything without asking you first, in a separate conversation, in plain language. You can ask us to delete it at any time by replying to our email. See our privacy commitment.

Lend a hand, an intro, or just an eye.

This is the low-commitment door, and we mean it sincerely. Some people want to give real hours. Some know exactly one person we ought to meet. Some just want to watch what we do for a while before deciding what they make of us.

All three are genuinely useful. The third one especially — a foundation that can’t stand being watched isn’t one worth supporting.
